He is the Be Ready Business Program Lead for the State of Utah\, Division of Emergency Management. He has spent the last 10 years with the Utah Division of Emergency Management promoting the Be Ready Utah campaign along with State Citizen Corps and private sector preparedness initiatives. James is a member of the Utah Emergency Managers Association\; and is part of the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) with State Emergency Operation Center responsibilities\; James is also the Vice President for the Disaster Discovery Center Board of Directors.
