DESCRIPTION:Enjoy craft beer\, light appetizers\, and a first look at the pieces being considered for Works from Within. \n\n\n\nThis year\, patrons at Beer and Ballet will view Ballet West II in excerpts from new works being created for Works From Within\, a program featuring original choreography from Ballet West dancers that will premiere at the Cox Auditorium in St. George\, Utah\, March 1\, 2018.\n\n\n\n"Works from Within is an exciting opportunity for Ballet West to travel the state of Utah. Last year we performed it in Park City\, Utah\, and this year we are thrilled to travel south to present new creations in beautiful Washington County\," said CEO & Artistic Director Adam Sklute. "This new program was born out of our popular Innovations series that I started when I arrived ten years ago. This year\, I have selected dancers Emily Adams\, Katlyn Addison\, Adrian Fry\, Trevor Naumann\, Chelsea Keefer\, and Christopher Sellars to create bold new works. This is an important program that gives our artists a platform to create new works."\n\n\n\nBefore the workshopped pieces debut on stage\, patrons will enjoy craft beer from Epic Brewing and light appetizers from Blue Iguana\, all in the bright and intimate setting of the Rose Wagner lobby. Following the program\, choreographers and dancers will join the crowd to mingle and toast what promises to be an incredible upcoming 54rd Season for Ballet West.\n\nTickets for Beer & Ballet are $35 per person ($40 at the door)\, and will go quickly. All proceeds from this event benefits Ballet West's educational and artistic programs.  Prices include three drink tickets\, and appetizers. A photo ID is required.
