He holds an MBA from the Wharton School\, an MA from the University of Pennsylvania\, and a BA from Brigham Young University.\n\n\n\nSmith is an adventurer who has visited 70 countries.  He has floated down the Amazon on a self-made raft\, kayaked from Cuba to Florida\, and explored North Korea.  He and his wife Asialene live in Salt Lake City with their four children.
