DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 20 years of Volunteerism with United Way of Salt Lake!  United Way of Salt Lake Day of Caring engages more than 3\,300 volunteers completing more than 145 one-day service projects in Davis\, Salt Lake\, Summit\, and Tooele counties.  Volunteers reach thousands of our most vulnerable citizens and build a stronger community for us all.  Day of Caring begins at a kick-off breakfast at The Gateway with live entertainment for all sponsors and volunteer participants from 7:30-9:00 a.m. This annual event continues to generate a high level of participation and media exposure. Local television and radio stations cover the morning event and several service projects throughout the day.
