DESCRIPTION:Be a part of the demonstration and lend a hand at Salt Lake City's two demonstration gardens.  Volunteers able to demonstrate expertise with pressurized irrigation systems and a variety of delivery methods including rotor\, fixed head\, and dripline\, are needed to turn on and off the irrigation at the beginning and end of the growing season and check both gardens once per month to troubleshoot any problems.  By participating in the Friend of the Gardens program\, volunteers are able to gain a sense of ownership for making a difference in our community.  Salt Lake City's two demonstration gardens are seen by thousands of people each year and we hope to create more in the future.
