DESCRIPTION:This training provides a "look under the hood" of Utah's economy\, which is consistently recognized as among the most resilient in the nation.  We will follow the economy's transformation from its beginnings in geographic isolation and homogeneity to today's diverse and globally-connected state\, identifying the key factors that underpin Utah's economic strengths.  We will also evaluate current challenges to the Utah economy and their implications for the future. Current students who wish to attend are eligible for a fee waiver and may email us directly at gardnerinstitute@eccles.utah.edu. Attendees who wish to sign up multiple guests should also email us directly.
