In the United States\, identity fraud losses jumped to $43 billion in 2022 (Javelin Strategy & Research).\n\n\n\n"Treat your personal information like the valuable commodity it is\," said Jane Rupp\, President and CEO of BBB. "Make sure you shred any documents that include personal or sensitive information to help avoid identity theft."\n\n\n\nBring up to three boxes or bags of documents for free document shredding. Documents to be shredded should be removed from binders but staples and paper clips are okay to shred. Participants are encouraged to donate gently used clothing that will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah. All items should be washed before donating. Used clothing donations are a way for the entire community to support one-to-one mentoring for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
