SUMMARY:Worksite Mini-Grant Application Deadline for Breast Feeding/Lactation Accommodations
DESCRIPTION:Has your business struggled with becoming compliant with the federal law for lactation accommodations due to financial or other constraints? The Utah Department of Health's HEAL program is providing mini-grants to eligible businesses to assist with this process.\n\nWorksites of any size and number of employees are eligible to apply for funds between $500   $2\,500.\n\nWorksites may use funds to establish or enhance lactation accommodations including:\n\n\n	Providing a private room\n	Improving existing room with comfortable chairs\, side tables\, and mini refrigerators\n	Creating a welcoming ambiance with wall decor\n	Providing educational materials and resources to women\, and\n	Providing education about breastfeeding to employees and employers.\n\nFeedback will be solicited from employees using the improved lactation accommodations.
