Goldman Sachs believes that a healthy environment is the foundation for a sustainable and strong economy. In November 2005, Goldman Sachs established its Environmental Policy Framework, and ten years later, identified areas in which the firm could do more.
The firm led with its commitment to maintain a best-in-class energy management policy throughout the organization. In Salt Lake City, this energy efficiency priority can be observed in the selection of LEED designed building locations at 222 Main and 111 Main, as well as LEED designed office space.
At April’s Project Skyline meeting, Cindy Quan, Vice President of Corporate Services and Real Estate and global head of Environmental, Social and Governance at Goldman Sachs, will be discussing the current energy commitments featured in the firm’s newly-released 2016 Environment, Social and Governance Report.
