ABOUT
This course provides an overview of Six Sigma and how people can easily implement this improvement process in their job. Participants understand the cost savings and personal benefit of eliminating workplace waste. They learn a step-by-step process that teaches them to see problems and address them using gathered data and other resources.
Course Objectives:
• Understand the principles of Six Sigma.
• Introduce the eight typical wastes in manufacturing
• Learn the five steps to addressing problems and
helpful techniques and tools within each phase:
• Define Phase: Define the problem
• Measure Phase: Measure the current process
• Analyze Phase: Identify the cause of the problem
• Improve Phase: Implement and verify the solution
• Control Phase: Maintain the solution
