Most people avoid hard conversations because they fear conflict or regret how things went last time. This talk teaches leaders how to speak honestly without burning bridges, shutting people down, or losing influence. Through real examples and simple tools, I show how to stay calm, communicate clearly, and protect relationships while still holding the line.
Meet Our Presenter
Estefany Marte
Estefany Marte-Bäckman is an international speaker and
leadership strategist trusted by ambitious leaders
navigating defining transitions.
Her message is clear: clarity doesn’t come before courage; it comes from it.
At just 20, Estefany became CEO of her family’s agribusiness, not because she was ready,
but because legacy called. She traded her pointe shoes as a professional dancer for black
rubber boots, a symbol she now brings to the stage to remind leaders that presence,
movement, and bold action are essential to leading through uncertainty.
She led the company through exponential growth, orchestrated a high-multiple exit, and was
appointed CEO of both merging companies. Over the next few years, she led major
transformations across industries, guiding teams of up to 900 people through integration
post-acquisition, crisis, and great expansion.
Today, Estefany speaks across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe, helping leaders
navigate uncertainty with courage, strategy, and conviction. From executive teams to fast
scaling entrepreneurs, her keynotes blend deep business acumen with raw honesty and
clarity, activating decision makers in high-stakes moments.
Whether guiding others through transitions or helping them reconnect with their courage
when it matters most, Estefany lights a clear path forward. She transforms insight into action
through stories, strategy, and a bold belief:
Transitions are the greatest catalysts of growth in business and in life.
A proud Dominican and long-time member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Estefany
brings over 16 years of real-world leadership experience to every stage, empowering others
to meet change head-on and turn uncertainty into defining moments.
