Lennie Knowlton, CMHC, CDWF is Founder and Executive Director of Project Connection. Lennie is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience working with trauma, anxiety and relationship issues in the community. She has a strong belief that people do better when they are connected in meaningful ways and founded Project Connection with the commitment to providing evidence-based mental health care while providing the connection and community required to achieve optimum wellness.
Alyssa Mitchell is the Zero Suicide Program Manager for the Utah Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of Substance Use and Mental Health. Alyssa has worked in suicide prevention for 9 years. She is an experienced master trainer in evidence based programs Question. Persuade. Refer and Mental Health First Aid. In addition to this she is the co-chair for the Workplace Workgroup of the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition. Alyssa has a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion and Education.
Marissa Gray is the Senior Benefits Specialist at Big-D Construction, a rapidly growing national general contractor with about 1700 associates. She spearheads the development, implementation, administration and education of comprehensive benefit and wellness programs. Outside of her day job, she is an executive member of the Utah Suicide Prevention Committee and co-chair of the Utah Suicide Prevention Workplace Workgroup, whose mission is to promote quality of life and prevent suicide. Marissa contributes to a safer, healthier workforce, ensuring benefits and resources are accessible and stigma surrounding mental health is continuously challenged. She has received several awards for her efforts, including Platinum Mental Health America Bell Award, Utah Worksite Wellness Award, Compsych Award, and was also honored as Construction Champion Rising Star in 2024.
