Gem City Fine Foods is a dedicated gluten- and nut-free commercial bakery providing certified gluten-free frozen ready-to-eat delicious desserts made with top quality ingredients and sold in retail stores in Utah and across the country and online, and wholesale for food service, including catering, restaurants and college and university dining.
Formerly known as Blossom Fine Foods, we began as a small traditional bakery in the Sugarhouse District of Salt Lake City in 2005, and moved to our dedicated bakery in West Valley City in 2012, producing exclusievely certified gluten-free desserts since, changing our name to Gem City Fine Foods in 2014.
Our current line includes Flourless Chocolate Torte, Vegan Chocolate Cake and Cupcakes (free of the Top 8 food allergens), Carrot Cake, five cheesecakes: Triple Berry Streusel, Mocha, Lemon Zest, Pomegranate Cheesecake, a seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Pumpkin Pie in a variety of sizes, from bulk and gift boxed petit fours to a 10-in. 40 oz. Torte perfect for cut and plate.
Our team, dedicated to the mission of providing top quality delicious gluten- and nut-free and food allergy friendly desserts, is led by Owner Rick Kent, CEO/Sales and Marketing Manager Lisa Cox, Operations Manager Randy Williams and Baker Whitney Black. We employ full-and part-time bakery and administrative staff in West Valley City, UT, and Laramie, WY.
