DESCRIPTION:OWNING A VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS\n\nVeterans have the character\, discipline and skills needed\n\nto succeed as small business owners and entrepreneurs.\n\nWondering what it takes and how you can prepare?\n\nEnroll in Boots to Business.\n\n\n\nABOUT BOOTS TO BUSINESS\n\nBoots to Business is a two-step training program that\n\nprovides participants an overview of business ownership\n\nas a career vocation\, an outline and knowledge on the\n\ncomponents of a business plan\, a practical exercise in\n\nopportunity recognition\, and an introduction to available\n\npublic and private sector resources.\n\nStep one is the Introduction to Entrepreneurship course\n\neligible to Veterans of all eras\, service members\n\n(including members of the National Guard and Reserve)\n\nand their spouses. This course is instructed by SBA and\n\nits partners\, who are skilled business advisors.\n\nStep two is the follow-on Foundations of\n\nEntrepreneurship course instructed by a consortium of\n\nprofessors and skilled business advisors from the SBA\n\nNetwork. Please email boot-to-business@sba.gov if\n\nyou've already attended Boots to Business and wish to\n\nsign-up.
