Salt Lake City Announces New Citywide Volunteer Program Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker is proud to announce the launch of a new citywide volunteer program, Service in the City. This program will connect residents with service projects and volunteer opportunities in City government and throughout the community. There is an array of projects to participate in and opportunities to fit a wide variety of skill sets and schedules.
