Be a part of the demonstration and help ready one of Salt Lake City's public gardens for another successful growing season. Volunteers are needed on Sat, March 17 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Washington Square Water Conservation Demonstration Garden to help with pulling weeds, cutting back perennials, forking the soil, and spreading mulch. Interested volunteers should register online at www.myvolunteerpage.com or RSVP to Savannah Wake at savannah.wake@slcgov.com or 801-535-6202. Volunteers are asked to please bring their own gloves and hand tools including trowels, probes, pruners, and small headed rakes if possible. No experience is necessary and instruction will be provided.
