Jason Bailey is Director of Select Health's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and Subrogation teams, leading efforts that have saved over $60 million by ensuring benefit integrity and compliance. With 23 years at Select Health, he?s recognized for his integrity-driven leadership and for guiding award-winning, collaborative teams. Jason holds a bachelor's in Criminal Justice (Weber State University) and an MBA (Western Governors University). When not engaged in his professional duties, he loves sailing on cruise ships or enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, off-roading in his Jeep, and mountain biking alongside his wife and children.

Michael Baum is an SVP and Manager of Treasury Management at Altabank, a division of Glacier Bank. He has a 17‑year banking career and joined Altabank in 2018 after a decade in treasury management leadership roles at Zions Bank. Before banking, he spent 12 years with a national manufacturer, including 8 as a regional sales manager overseeing 15 reps across 12 states, and previously owned two businesses.
He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, holds a BSBA, and is accredited as an APRP and CTP. Michael serves as board chair for Project Read. He and his wife, Diane, live in Sandy and have three children. He enjoys basketball, fly fishing, camping, hiking, and time with family and their schnauzer, Willow.

Foster Becquet serves as the Assistant Manager of Air Service and Business Development at Salt Lake City International Airport. In this role, he supports the airport's air service and air cargo strategic plans, helping to add new destinations from Salt Lake to the world. In this role, it involves strong communication, relationship building, and plenty of Excel! He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business, and the University of Colorado with a Master of Public Administration. Foster works his dream job as he's always loved airports since he was a child, and enjoys working in a career that connect people where they want to go more easily. Outside of work, Foster enjoys trying new food spots in Utah with his wife, Kylie, as well as traveling to new countries.

Accomplished aviation executive and servant leader with over 25 years of experience driving operational excellence, cultivating high-performance teams, and leading safety and quality management systems across the commercial aviation sector. Proven track record of aligning cross-functional initiatives with regulatory standards and organizational goals, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Bergen Beesley is the Branch Manager of the Salt Lake Brickyard Branch of America First Credit Union. With 20 years of credit union experience, she has spent the past nine years leading her current branch. Bergen and her team are dedicated to delivering a positive, memorable experience for the more than 10,000 members they serve.
 A Utah native, Bergen was born in Sandy and earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and their three children. One of their most memorable adventures together was a family trip to N'Djamena, Chad.

Chandler Beutler is a public sector professional based in Utah, currently serving as the Government Relations Manager for the Utah Transit Authority. In this role, he works closely with city and county leaders to strengthen partnerships, address community needs, and advance transit initiatives across the region. 
 Chandler earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and later received a Master of Public Administration from Southern Utah University. He is passionate about public policy and making a meaningful impact in his community, and is known for his collaborative approach, ability to connect stakeholders, and commitment to improving communication between government entities and the public.

Kyle Biederwolf is the Director of Government & Community Affairs for Comcast, where he leads local policy, advocacy, and government facing initiatives across Utah. He works closely with city leaders and community partners to advance key business priorities, manage municipal ordinance and regulatory reviews, and support franchise negotiations.

After relocating from Albuquerque, Kyle brings deep experience in external affairs, having previously overseen public relations, philanthropic strategy, and community relations in Arizona and New Mexico. He is known for building durable partnerships that support economic development and meaningful community impact.

Kyle recently joined the EDC Utah Board of Trustees and has served on several nonprofit boards. He is a graduate of Leadership New Mexico and holds a Bachelor and Master degree from the University of New Mexico. In 2020, he was recognized by Albuquerque Business First as a 40 Under Forty honoree.

Alan Blackburn is the Director of Sales for KSL Television in Salt Lake City Utah. He has worked at KSL for 30 years with an additional 7 years in radio broadcast in SLC. He has a bachelor's degree in Technical Sales from Weber State University. Alan oversees the sales of great NBC and KSL programming such as it's award winning news, Olympics, NFL Football, Major League Baseball, NBA and prime time programming.

Robin Bottjen serves as administrator of The Salvation Army in Salt Lake City. She moved to Salt Lake City July 2025. Robin has had oversight over a variety of different responsibilities such as shelters, preschools, thrift stores and more. She oversees a food pantry, utility assistance for the state of Utah, hot meals for the Neighborhood House families, church programs as well as seasonal program such as Angel Tree serving children, their families and seniors in the community. She is married to her husband, Keith, who also works with Robin. They have 4 grown children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Robin likes to plan events, do art projects and enjoys thrift shopping. She is enjoying the beauty of Utah and the kind people she has had the opportunity to work with on a variety of different projects.

The most important infrastructure is the kind nobody notices until it fails, and keeping it from failing is the work Barney Boynton has built his career around. Nearly thirty years ago he founded Go Pave, which he has grown into a multi-state paving and concrete maintenance company serving the Intermountain West, with new markets opening now. In 2025, the company was named a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses National Champion. Go Pave focuses on asphalt lifecycle planning, pavement strategy, and commercial facility services: protecting the parking lots, roads, and surfaces people rely on every day, long before they become a problem.

Beyond the business, Barney serves on the boards of Utah Global Diplomacy and Trim Tab and is an Eagle Scout. A husband and father, he believes your work should reflect who you are. Growth and a good challenge are what move him, and he's always looking for what's next.

Stephanie Broderick is the VP, Underwriting for WCF Insurance, brining nearly 20 years of insurance experience to the role. She is responsible for ensuring that the underwriters at WCF have the tools, resources, and knowledge that they need as WCF expands their product offerings. Her team supports the underwriters through training, data insights, and resource creation. Stephanie has a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from Colorado State University. She also holds the CPCU and ARM professional designations. Stephanie recently relocated to Utah with her family. In her free time, she likes baking and spending time with her daughter and husband exploring different areas around where they live.

Mary Burchett has provided dedicated service to The Children's Center Utah for more than a decade. As Development Manager, she brings a wonderful talent for both strategic vision and hands-on execution. Her commitment to Utah children and families is reflected in the compelling events she oversees, in the warmth with which she strengthens relationships with donors, and in her consistent leadership on her team and within our organization. Her strength lies not only in logistics and planning, but also in storytelling that inspires giving, ensuring each event builds momentum year over year. Mary recognizes the profound impact addressing early childhood mental health has on long-term outcomes, including academic achievement, workforce stability, and the strength of families and communities, and this understanding inspires her commitment to her work.

Tracie Byron is Vice President of Brand at Mountain America Credit Union, where she leads the creative, communications, and content teams to shape and evolve the organization's brand identity and voice.
A Michigan State University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Tracie brings a versatile background in public relations, strategic communications, and marketing to building meaningful brand experiences.
When she's not at the office, Tracie is a proud mom of two, a dedicated "theater mom," and an outdoor enthusiast who can often be found in mountains on skis or on a trail with her two rescue dogs. She's also a live music and musical theater lover who values nothing more than good company with friends and family.

Abby Caldwell serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Salt Lake Chamber, where she helps share the story of the Chamber and its members with the community and key audiences. Working closely with the marketing team, she conducts interviews, collaborates with members, creates written content for monthly blogs, and supports Chamber events.
 She graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a minor in Business Management, laying the foundation for her career in marketing and communications.
 Outside of her role at the Chamber, Abby is also a small business owner who designs and sells her handmade silver jewelry at local markets. In her free time, she enjoys creating whether making jewelry, sewing quilts, or traveling with her family.

Simon Christiansen is the Vice President of Palmer-Christiansen Company. Simon is responsible for bidding and managing construction projects for the firm. Simon has been with the firm since 2017. He started as an apprentice plumber and has steadily increased his responsibilities with the firm. He attended college at Montana State University and Salt Lake Community College. In his spare time Simon enjoys climbing and golf. He is the proud owner of a rescue dog with three legs that is the unofficial mascot of the company.

Alex Christiansen is the Federal Affairs Manager for Sunrun, the nation's largest residential energy generation and storage company, headquartered in Lehi. He splits his time between Utah and Washington, DC, working with policymakers on practical, forward-looking energy policy and helping the company navigate an evolving regulatory landscape. In DC, he partners with lawmakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders on issues like tax policy, grid modernization, and distributed energy.
 
 Before joining Sunrun, Alex worked on Capitol Hill for Senator Mitt Romney and for then-Representative John Curtis. Originally from Provo, he studied public relations and Russian at Utah Valley University. Outside of work he loves traveling, adventuring, and getting out into the mountains whenever he can.

Lori Churchill, is an entrepreneur and small business owner who started Alpha Coffee with her husband in 2010. Prior to that, she owned and operated a massage therapy business for 12 years. Her core role at Alpha is Barista Training and Education, as well as Strategic Planning and decision making alongside her husband Carl. Her goal for 2026 is to learn and grow alongside other business leaders, gain insight from their experiences, and apply those lessons to her company, its team members, its customers, and her local community. In her spare time you will find Lori on the slopes and trails of the Wasatch, cooking delicious made-from-scratch healthy meals with her family, attending Ballet West or concerts, standup paddle boarding, walking her dog Tove, doing yoga, hitting the weights, adoring her grandsons, or traveling on bucket list trips with her husband.

Josh Clark is a Vice President and senior private banker in the Salt Lake City office of JPMorganChase Private Bank. With nearly 15 years in financial services, he advises high-net-worth individuals and families including founders, business owners, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs on strategies to build, preserve, and transfer wealth. Josh leads the Private Bank?s Technology and Financial Sponsors businesses across Utah and Idaho, connecting clients to banking, investing, credit, and advanced planning resources. Prior to joining JPMorganChase, he was a senior leader at Goldman Sachs, building and managing large teams and supporting institutional clients such as endowments, foundations, pension funds, and hedge funds. An eighth-generation Utahn and BYU graduate, Josh lives in the Salt Lake City area with his family and enjoys tennis, golf, and exploring Utah's outdoors.

James Davis is an Audit Senior Manager at Larson & Company in the public accounting industry, where he brings deep expertise in audit, financial reporting, and client service. He is recognized for his strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and ability to guide teams and clients through complex financial and compliance matters. James has also demonstrated a strong commitment to service and financial stewardship through his leadership roles in the community, having served as Treasurer of Needs Beyond Medicine through the end of 2025 and currently serving as Treasurer of the Utah chapter of IASA. He earned both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in accountancy from Brigham Young University in 2017. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, and values the opportunity to be active in his community.

David Dobbins works for Clyde Companies as their Community Engagement Manager helping to navigate political and government processes. His background includes local government work as the Draper City Manager and served on several boards including the South Valley Chamber and EDCUtah. He also was involved in many large development projects including The Pointe, eBay and Pluralsight.

Brad Dutson is an Executive Director and Commercial Banking Leader at Wells Fargo, where he leads the Emerging Middle Market business in Utah. He is responsible for driving growth, leading high performing teams, and delivering integrated financial solutions to companies across a range of industries. Brad brings deep experience in commercial lending, portfolio and risk management, and client advisory. He partners closely with business owners, senior executives, and internal stakeholders to support expansion, capital structure decisions, and long term financial strategy. His leadership style emphasizes disciplined execution, sound risk management, and relationship banking. Passionate about talent development and inclusive culture, Brad holds a BS in Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College.

Samantha Eldridge is the Director of the Center for Native Excellence & Tribal Engagement and serves as the University Tribal Liaison at the University of Utah. With more than a decade of experience in tribal, state, national, and higher education leadership, her work focuses on advancing Indigenous student success, strengthening university Tribal partnerships, and expanding access, belonging, and opportunity for Native students and communities. At the University of Utah, Samantha leads culturally grounded programs, holistic student support, leadership development, and strategic partnerships across campus and Tribal communities. She also helps guide implementation of the University's Memorandum of Understanding with the Ute Indian Tribe. Samantha is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration at the University of Utah.

As Director of Business Development for Mortenson's Utah business, Chase leads growth strategy and work acquisition efforts across the Utah market and the broader Intermountain West. As a member of the Utah leadership team, he helps set strategic direction, aligns pursuit strategy with long-term regional opportunities, and partners with clients and stakeholders to deliver lasting value. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Chase is focused on understanding customer needs, anticipating market trends, and building trusted, purpose-driven partnerships. Grounded in his roots as a builder, he brings a disciplined, front-end approach to market engagement, pursuit leadership, and collaborative planning. Chase is passionate about workforce development, talent mentorship, and community involvement, and is committed to contributing to Utah's long-term economic and civic success.

Chase Farrington is an SVP Private Banking Relationship Manager for Zions Bank, advising the personal and business relationships of high net worth and financially complex clients throughout Utah. With nearly 15 years at the bank, he has built deep community relationships and high-performing teams that deliver consistent results. Chase earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Utah and completed two graduate degrees at Western Governors University with an MBA and a Master's in Management and Leadership. Beyond banking, he is devoted to his family, with his wife, five young children, and an energetic Irish Setter. Kallee Feuz is vice president and social media manager for Zions Bank, responsible for managing and optimizing the bank's social media presence. Prior to her current role, she was the bank's Utah public relations officer for six years. With a communications degree from Brigham Young University, Kallee began her career as a reporter for the Spectrum and Daily News in St. George. Over more than two decades, she's written for print, digital and broadcast mediums.
Along with a love of words (including books, poetry and crossword puzzles), she's a voracious consumer of professional running news, running shoes and Diet Coke. She has two unruly Karelian bear dogs, three delightful sons and one terrific husband.

Tammy Frisby is an attorney in the Salt Lake City office of the global law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. Tammy clerked for the Honorable Howard C. Nielson, Jr. in the federal district of Utah and Associate Chief Justice Thomas R. Lee on the Utah Supreme Court. She also practiced at local firm Parr Brown Gee & Loveless. Tammy holds a Ph.D. in political science from Harvard. For a decade, she taught U.S. politics and public policy at Stanford. While at Stanford, Tammy was also a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, the public policy think tank located on Stanford's campus. As a fellow at the Hoover Institution, Ms. Frisby provided research-based guidance to public policymakers, including elected officials and political candidates. She served as an expert source for print journalists at publications including the New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic.

Jordan Gaddis is a Product Marketing Director with more than 25 years of experience in marketing and healthcare. She leads go-to-market acquisition and retention strategies for Large Employer plans at Select Health, where her team drives engagement with agents and employers across three states. Jordan brings deep expertise across commercial and government health plans, with a strong track record in leadership, strategic planning, and execution. Her work focuses on aligning product, sales, and marketing to deliver clear value to employers and agents while navigating the complexity of the healthcare landscape.
 
 She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Utah and an MBA from Weber State University. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with her son, strength training, and staying active with her husband and their golden retriever.

Cindy Gallo arrived at Salt Lake City International Airport in October 2025 as the Airport Communication Manager. Her 15-year career as a broadcast journalist in the SLC market, along with strategic communication skills with the Bureau of Land Management, lend to her strengths organizing media relations and strategic communication for the SLC Airport. Cindy's strengths lie in forward thinking and problem solving, tying multiple pieces of strategic communication into a comprehensive brand strategy for the organization. A graduate of the University of Utah with a B.S. in Mass Communication, Cindy carries a passion for storytelling and history. Working at the airport is apt; Cindy enjoys traveling any chance she gets, especially to places where she can feel small and like just one more piece of the earth's ecosystem. She lives in Layton with her husband and two daughters.

Colin has a background in business development, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning. Colin has a background in founding and scaling small businesses, revitalizing multifamily housing, and supporting nonprofit growth. 

Colin holds an MBA in Technology Commercialization from Westminster University and a BA in Economics from the University of Utah. He is passionate about supporting local businesses, promoting equitable growth, and building sustainable economic opportunities across the city.

Katie Gleed; a former junior high teacher, brings eight years of experience with the KSL family, having held leadership roles in Technology, Product, and HR. Her expertise spans nearly every KSL Product team, and during the company's current merger she has been a key player driving cross-functional collaboration and navigating conflict with a partnership-first mindset. She is passionate about user testing and research.
 
 Katie earned her MBA from BYU and is currently auditing a Practical AI for Business Executives course. Beyond KSL, she founded and leads Building Blocks in Africa, an international nonprofit. An avid traveler working toward a goal of 100 countries. You'll also find her trying a new sourdough bread recipe or exploring Utah trails with her one-year-old Goldendoodle and cheering for any and all Seattle teams (Go Hawks!).

Ashlin Holbrook serves as Public Policy Coordinator at the Salt Lake Chamber, where assists the Government Relations and Public Policy department with the execution of policy priorities and provides support for public policy and government relations programs, committees, and members.
 
 Ashlin recently graduated from the University of Utah with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Throughout her undergraduate career, she has gained policy experience and knowledge through internships with The Policy Project, The McKeon Group, the Utah State Legislature, and the Governor's Office. She also served as the Financial Disclosures Specialist for the Lieutenant Governor's Office, working with candidates, lobbyists, and election officials to ensure compliance with state campaign finance laws. Through all of these experiences, Ashlin has developed a passion for state and local government.

As a Business Development Officer for Wells Fargo's Commercial Bank, Kyle Iverson is a strategic catalyst for growth across Utah. He specializes in driving new business for private equity sponsors and companies headquartered in the Beehive State, connecting local ambition with the global resources of a premier financial institution. Known for his "client-first" approach, Kyle navigates complex capital structures to help Utah firms scale and thrive. Off the clock, Kyle trades the boardroom for the backcountry. A true enthusiast of the Intermountain West, he spends his time golfing, hunting, and fishing. Whether he is on the fairway or a remote trail, his passion for hiking and the outdoors reflects the same discipline he brings to finance. Dr. Jaeyoung Jenkins serves as Vice President of Membership and Community Partners for the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Utah Chapter. She is also a U.S. Army Reserve Major and Company Commander of the 405th Civil Affairs Battalion at Camp Williams, UT. In her civilian career, she is a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, where she supports the U.S. Army Financial Improvement Program. A combat veteran with a deployment to Afghanistan, Dr. Jenkins brings nearly two decades of leadership experience across defense consulting, organizational change management, logistics, and global supply chain operations. Her doctorate in global leadership and management complements a global perspective shaped by military service, strategic advisory work, and community engagement. She is committed to advancing collaborative leadership and public service across Utah.

Duke Johnson serves as the Executive Director of Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake County, where he leads strategy, operations, and community engagement for one of Utah?s most visited science institutions. Under his leadership, the planetarium has doubled its attendance, advanced innovative exhibits, increased immersive programming, and developed partnerships that expand access to STEM learning for hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. He focuses on aligning public investment with bold, future-facing experiences that inspire curiosity and exploration, contributing to the planetarium?s ranking among the top three in the U.S. Duke collaborates with county leaders, educators, and community partners to strengthen impact. Outside of work, he enjoys creative projects, photography, astrophotography, and riding motorcycles with his sons.

Franny Johnson is the Development Director of the DonorConnect Foundation, where she leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and community initiatives that advance the gift of life. She works closely with donors, sponsors, board members, and community partners to secure philanthropic support for donor family services, community education, and innovation.

With a Master of Public Administration and more than 20 years of leadership experience, Franny brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her work. Before joining the Foundation, she spent five years leading DonorConnect’s Aftercare program, supporting donor families through grief, remembrance, and connection.

Franny is committed to building authentic relationships, honoring the legacies of organ, eye, and tissue donors, and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and organizations to make a lasting impact.

Jill Kirsling serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Salt Lake Chamber/Utah Chamber. In this role, she oversees compliance and financial health of the Chamber portfolio of companies. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and from Westminster University with a Masters in Business Administration. She is dually licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Utah and Washington. Jill and her husband, John, have four children and live in Salt Lake City.

Doug is a results-driven leader and Director of Business Development at Layton Construction, specializing in growth strategy, client relations, financial analysis, and team leadership. In two years, he has contributed to multiple billions in pursuits, helping secure nearly $1B in awarded projects. He spearheads relationships with architects, developers, project managers, and government entities, aligning client goals with strategic execution. Doug drives cost optimization and risk mitigation through preconstruction collaboration and champions innovation, including Mass Timber initiatives. Committed to trust, diversity, and continuous improvement, he builds high-performing teams and long-term partnerships that deliver measurable, sustainable success.

Katherine, Katie, Layton is a seasoned Human Resources leader with over 25 years of experience across large and mid-sized organizations. She spent 10 years managing HR for UPS and the past 15 years leading Human Resources for RC Willey Home Furnishings. Katie has overseen all aspects of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational strategy. Her leadership is grounded in consistency, trust, and a strong ability to connect with people at all levels, helping build engaged, high-performing teams. Outside of work, Katie enjoys creative writing and storytelling, and spending time outdoors with her husband Jon and their dog, Cho.

With nearly 20 years of banking experience in Utah, Dane brings deep market knowledge and a collaborative leadership style to this expanded role. As the Regional President, he oversees the bank's business banking and retail channels, business development strategy, and community engagement across Utah and Nevada. Dane's expertise spans commercial & industrial lending, commercial real estate, and treasury services with a passion for helping entrepreneurs and middle-market companies thrive.
 
 A proud Utah native, Dane earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah and later completed his MBA at Westminster College. Known for his approachable demeanor and problem-solving mindset, Dane is as committed to his community as he is to his clients. When not at the bank, you'll often find him coaching his kids' sports teams, swimming and golfing as frequently as possible.

Amy May is Executive Director of TreeUtah, a nonprofit organization that plants trees with groups of volunteers throughout Utah. In this role, she oversees over 175 events per year and team of 20 (full and part time) staff, over 3500 volunteers, and the planting of over 7000 trees annually. She has worked for nonprofits that enrich community for over 30 years. She is passionate about connecting people with the nature in their own backyards and bringing communities together to create more resilient neighborhoods. When not at work planting trees, you can find Amy cooking elaborate dinners with friends, in her garden, or on a trail.

Manuela McDonough serves as the WCF Foundation Manager at WCF Insurance, where she leads the strategy, operations, and community impact initiatives of the Foundation. Based in Sandy, Utah, she oversees grantmaking, sponsorships, scholarships, and employee engagement efforts that advance WCF's commitment to strong, resilient communities. Manuela graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Political Science and holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama and hails from Maryland. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and children.

Katie Means is the Chief of Staff at Visit Salt Lake, where she works alongside the CEO and executive leadership team to keep the organization aligned, focused, and moving forward. She brings clarity to complex priorities, bridges communication across departments, and ensures that strategy doesn't just get talked about, it gets done.
 Katie leads the administrative team with a genuine investment in their growth and success, recognizing their work as foundational to how the organization operates. She also plays a role in shaping how Visit Salt Lake engages with its clients and partners, contributing to a culture of hospitality that extends beyond the visitor experience.
 A trusted advisor and steady presence in the room, Katie is known for her ability to anticipate needs, navigate challenges with grace, and bring out the best in the people around her.

Leonardo Osorio is an experienced executive with more than 25 years of expertise in human resources, organizational leadership, quality improvement, and global operations.  Leonardo earned a master?s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Utah and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University. As Director of Human Resources for Sunpro Corporation, he oversees compliance, workforce development, and the company's international H-2B workforce initiative. He enjoys reading, traveling, biking, and spending time with his wife and four children.

Emily Paskett is the Sustainability Director for Salt Lake County, where she leads efforts to advance environmental sustainability across county operations and regional initiatives. Her work focuses on building cross-agency partnerships and aligning strategies that support environmental goals alongside economic and social priorities. Emily holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor?s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with a focus on Urban Ecology. Outside the office, she can usually be found hiking, biking, or camping, or enjoying a good book and live music.

Praopan Pratoomchat is a Senior Research Economist at the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah. She conducts applied economic research, including economic impact analysis using dynamic general equilibrium models, fiscal analysis, and research on social capital. Her work supports federal and state agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and local communities, and she collaborates closely with partners to ensure research addresses broader societal needs. Praopan earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Chulalongkorn University and her Ph.D. and M.S. in Economics from the University of Utah. Outside her work, she also researches youth homelessness, social welfare, and political economy. She enjoys traveling to a new country, or spending time at home painting with her cat.

Dr. Nick Robbins serves as Vice President of Benefits and Education for the Larry H. Miller Company and Miller Family Office, where he leads strategy and operations for education, development, and family benefit programs across a multi-generational enterprise. He oversees a multimillion-dollar portfolio and advises principals and trustees on governance, philanthropy, and next-generation engagement. Nick also leads the Larry H. Miller Education Foundation, working closely with higher education partners to expand access and student success. He holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Utah and is committed to strengthening communities through education, leadership, and service.

Jana Saba serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Operations for Rocky Mountain Power. She is responsible for all regulatory compliance with the public service commissions of Utah, Wyoming and Idaho as well as all regulatory filings and discovery. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Science in Finance. Jana lives in Farmington with her husband and two teenage daughters, who she hides from by engaging in middle-aged-appropriate hobbies such as pickleball, gardening, backgammon and reading.

Jeremy Shaw, Renewal Manager at Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah, works with a team of account executives to develop corporate sales and renewals strategies that align with broker and group market needs. During his time at Regence, Jeremy has proven his dedication to making health care more affordable. From his time as an account executive focusing on plan design and cost control to leading a financial services operation team that expanded Regence's HSAs and the integrated banking platform, Jeremy has excelled in building relationships and implementing solutions that benefit Utahns. 
 
 He graduated from Weber State University, with a bachelor's degree in software engineering and computer science. When he is not developing benefit packages, Jeremy enjoys sports including mountain biking, strategic board games, and traveling with his wife and children.

Nicholas Smith serves as the General Manager of The Other Side Donuts, a social enterprise of The Other Side Village. The Other Side Village is a peer-led, democratic therapeutic community that empowers individuals to move beyond chronic homelessness through stable housing, personal accountability, and meaningful connection.
 Nicholas leads his team with integrity and accountability, mentoring both life and work skills. As a graduate of The Other Side Academy, he shares his personal experience of whole-person change with the individuals he leads, modeling the transformation and growth that the organization stands for.
 Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys running and spending time embracing his second chance at life with his girlfriend, Lindsey, and his children.

Amber Spackman is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, including 13 years as the Corporate Controller of Parker-Migliorini International (PMI Foods), an international food distribution company. In this role, she oversees financial reporting, internal controls, and strategic planning across the organization while partnering with leadership to support sustainable growth. She is passionate about developing strong teams, improving processes and translating financial data into clear, actionable insights. 
 Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is motivated to contribute to the broader business and civic community. She values collaboration, integrity, and thoughtful leadership and is looking for opportunities for continued learning and meaningful contributions.

Kylee Spjut is the Public Relations Manager at Penna Powers, with a passion for thoughtful storytelling and meaningful communication. She has a background in communications and PR and brings a strategic approach and strong writing skills that have helped secure media coverage at both local and global levels. Her days are spent developing on-target messaging, executing successful media events, and pitching exclusive news stories for a variety of clients. She has experience in the tourism and sports marketing industries, along with a particular passion for public health initiatives. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Kylee recently returned as an adjunct professor, where she teaches PR writing and media relations. Originally from Kentucky, Kylee loves the spring season, spending time at the lake, and international travel.

Mr. Summers has served as Director of Rates and Regulation at Enbridge Gas since 2025 and has worked in regulation since 2009. He manages regulatory processes in Utah and Wyoming, oversees policy development, and leads gas cost forecasting. He has testified in multiple general rate cases and gas cost adjustment filings. Austin began his career with Questar Gas in 1999 delivering mail and has held roles in Customer Care, Operations, Emergency Dispatch, Plant Accounting, and Financial Planning. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA from Westminster College, is a Utah CPA, and is a member of the AICPA. He volunteers as treasurer and coach for the West Granite Composite Mountain Bike Team and serves on the supervisory committee for Granite Credit Union.

Josie Taber is the Laboratory Supervisor for Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake & Sandy. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the lab, ensuring that they meet the rigorous standards required to maintain a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program accreditation. She?s also tasked with helping to ensure that the drinking water delivered to Salt Lake City and Sandy City residents meet the regulations required under the Safe Drinking Water Act. Josie graduated from the Southern Utah University with a BA in English Literature and a BS in Biology. She later graduated with a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of Utah. Josie also currently serves as the chair on the Publications Committee for AWWA and volunteers on Draper City's Tree Committee. She enjoys spending time bird watching with her husband and two (somewhat reluctant) children.

Amy Tetreault-Nelson is a practicing architect for GSBS Architects, driven by a passion for creating connections through well-designed spaces. As a Project Manager, Amy's tenacity allows her to deliver successful, functional, yet beautiful designs for her clients, particularly in the Resort & Hospitality and Higher Education sectors. Amy graduated with her Bachelor's in Architectural Studies (19) and Master's in Architecture (21) from the University of Utah. With her desire to create gender parity in the profession, Amy serves on the Executive Board for Women in Architecture SLC. She also dedicates her time to the Young Architects Forum and NOMA Utah. As a social butterfly, Amy often spends her free time at concerts, trying new local restaurants with her husband, or hosting a game night. Amy loves to relax at home with her two golden retrievers, often while reading a good book.

Kacey Thorne is Senior Director of Academic Strategic Initiatives at Western Governors University, where she leads the design and implementation of academic strategies focused on student outcomes and equitable access and attainment. Her nationally recognized work has contributed to the advancement of educational pathways that lead to meaningful employment, helping shape how institutions, employers, and learners connect learning to economic opportunity. Thorne is a sought-after speaker and thought partner in the national conversation on the future of higher education and workforce alignment, and collaborates across a broad ecosystem of educators, employers, and policy leaders to expand pathways to opportunity. Thorne holds a B.A. in English from the University of Utah and an M.Ed. in Instructional Design from WGU, and is pursuing a doctoral degree at South College.

Derek Welling is a Tax Partner at RSM US LLP. He works with his clients’ tax departments and C-suite professionals in identifying and implementing tax strategies and leads and guides RSM teams in addressing tax compliance and reporting requirements for his clients. He also helps lead RSM’s tax digital and technology efforts and is involved in experienced hire and new hire campus recruiting activities. His industry experience includes consumer products, retail, manufacturing, life sciences, financial services, and technology. He graduated from Brigham Young University with both a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy as well as a Master of Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of work, as a father to three daughters, you will likely find him and his wife, Megan, on a family bike ride, skiing, or at a daughter’s dance competition or soccer game.

Dayton Wenzel is a senior leader with over 27 years of combined USAF and commercial experience. He currently serves as Director of Technology Scouting at SBCC, where he drives commercial engagement, due diligence, and technology integration. He excels at building strategic relationships between the USAF and industry. Dayton leads a 13-person team and has led over 60 Integrated Product Teams that delivered more than $518 million in contracts. He has also planned and executed 6 Showcase events, resulting in 17 contracts and $61.5 million. As a retired Senior Master Sergeant, he held many leadership positions globally in quality assurance and logistics. He holds a BS in IT Management and is completing an MBA from Liberty University. He also has a PMP and an active TS clearance. He is engaged in Utah's defense community through the Salt Lake Chamber, 47G, and legislative organizations.

Beau Wilson serves as the Corporate Partnerships Manager for the Humane Society of Utah. In this role, he leads corporate engagement efforts, cultivating strategic partnerships that generate critical support and expand the organization's community impact. Beau collaborates closely with sponsors and stakeholders to develop meaningful, mission-driven experiences and ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives and events. He graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Theater, equipping him with a strong foundation in communication, storytelling, and strategic engagement. Outside of work, Beau enjoys golfing, competing in fantasy sports leagues, and spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their dog, Buddy.

Mindy Zahedi is an Assistant Property Manager with Hamilton Partners, where she helps oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across Utah. Mindy holds a B.S in Pharmaceutical Science from UC Irvine, is currently pursuing her RPA designation and is working toward becoming a Property Manager. Through her role, she has developed an interest in the impact of development on local economies. Mindy aspires to grow into leadership positions in her organization and look for opportunities to contribute to Utah's continued growth. While she is relatively new to the Salt Lake area having moved here in 2022, she hopes to gain insight into regional practices and better understand how Utah's approach compares to California. Outside of work, she enjoys training for kickboxing matches, exploring Utah by motorcycle with her husband, David, and watching baseball with her dogs - Tyson and Jeff.
