Benefit LLCs and Benefit Corporations Panel

Historically in the state of Utah people’s only option has been to register a business as a Benefit Corporation (B Corp), but at the beginning of May the state of Utah will become the 4^th state in the US to allow people to register their business as a Benefit Limited Liability Company (BLLC).

P3 Utah is bringing the originator of benefit business law to Utah, Bill Clark of Drinker Biddle, and is collaborating with the Women’s Business Center to host a panel where you will be given the chance to receive the answers to questions such as:

• Which structure best helps YOUR BUSINESS make a better world?
• How and when can you switch between entities?
• How do changes in federal tax law impact your decisions?
• How can the new federal Opportunity Zone program be tapped?

This is a unique opportunity:  give your questions a chance to find answers on how your business can be part of positive change our world needs.

If you are driving, park in the west side of the parking lot on the corner with 400 South and State Street. When you arrive, proceed to the left/west (monthly and validated parking) area and take a ticket and pass through the yellow parking gate. We will provide validations upstairs at the front desk. 

Please do not enter on the right/east side and park in the two rows closest to the building or you will have to pay in advance and we will not be able to validate your parking.
